Art & Emotional Wellness
JayAr Customs Foundation provides art-based wellness workshops that help young people cope with stress, build identity, and express emotions in healthy ways. Through journaling, mixed-media design, and expressive art practices, students explore their thoughts and feelings while developing practical creative skills.
During these sessions, participants learn to use art as a tool for emotional release and self-understanding. They experiment with reflective writing, color meaning, symbolism, and storytelling through art. Students also build confidence by sharing the inspiration behind their work, fostering connection and empathy within the group.
Programs are available for youth ages 10–18 and can be offered in schools, after-school spaces, and community centers. Each workshop ends with a reflective sharing activity, where students present their work, talk through their process, and leave with tools to continue using creativity for emotional health.
